October 1, 2009: Ahrend p h i l i n k is granted 'Henry van de Velde label' 2009
After being selected by Design Flanders for display at the Milan trade fair 2009, the Ahrend p h i l i n k table was awarded the 'Henry van de Velde label'. As stated by Design Flanders on their website, 'The Henry van de Velde label is a quality label that may be carried by the product as long as it is being produced. The label marks authenticity, innovative quality, creativity and refined finishing of the product. (...) The Henry Van de Velde label crowns the vision of designer and producer, and is intended as a quality guarantee of international acclaim.'
October 17, 2008: Ahrend p h i l i n k is launched at Interieur 08 (Kortrijk, Belgium)
The Ahrend p h i l i n k table, produced exclusively by Koninklijke Ahrend and designed by Voet Theuns architecten, is the first fully developed commercial product using the philink geometry. A series of products for other market segments will be developed in the future for which suitable commercial partners are currently being sought.

Construction is robust, light, economical and - thanks to its self-supporting tabletop in sustainably cultivated giant bamboo - ecologically sound as well.
